Dave Scragg is a local musician and music teacher and has been involved in the Norfolk music scene since his move up here in 2001. He first got involved in Broadcasting when he was invited by BBC Radio Norfolk to contribute to the Voices project which they ran in Watton in 2004.
His live broadcast from the Watton Carnival was the "Scariest thing I'd ever done", but got such a buzz from the experience that he caught the bug and was eager to be involved with WCR from the word go!!

Dave King has enjoyed living in the Wayland area for over twenty years and says the best part of living here is the beautiful countryside and the local people. Dave has a wide taste for music from the 70's through to present day. Dave's idea of total relaxation? Warm sunny days in the back garden watching wild life go about its business. Dave's quote " Enjoy your local radio.

David Hatherly (Station Manager) started his career as a teacher, but for some years before his move to Norfolk in 2005, he worked at BBC East Midlands.
He's a Mathematics graduate (hard sums as he call it) and is a part time Maths lecturer for the Open University.
Dave is passionate about local radio, particularly community based radio which is why he is the driving force behind WCR.
He is also fairly passionate about vintage buses, of which he has owned 2 in the past, and vintage landrovers, he's also owned 2 of those in a previous life!
His other hobbies include playing the flute and double bass ( not at the same time of course) and church bell ringing.

Mike Wing is probably the elder statesman of WCR having lived in the area for 13 years. He’s always wanted to be on radio since Caroline came along in the 60's but it took him 38 years to get there when he joined Hospital Radio Lynn in 2001.
He got the chance to be in at the beginning with WCR and enjoys every minute of it. His musical love has to be 60's "cos I was there" and there will never be another time like it.
With a group of friends, he built a miniature railway, which runs during the summer, and is open to the public.
He commutes between the Fens (his homeland), where his partner Wendy lives, and his home.
He can't wait till WCR is 24/7 and hopes to be part of it. Mike says ’My family thinks I am going through my second childhood - brilliant’

Sue Hatherly ( Administrator for WCR) is a ex teacher, who worked for BBC East Midlands, before moving to Norfolk in 2005.
She is a musician, who plays piano, clarinet and saxophone.
Sue was brought up on a diet of classical music & Gilbert and Sullivan, but enjoys a wide range of music from Bach to the Beatles, and Requiems (or death music as her son calls it) to Rock and Roll, which she loves dancing to.
Unfortunately she feels dizzy, and has been known to almost fall over, when she twirls around!
